Olovee began with the idea of extending an olive branch, bringing the local community together and giving back. The brand encapsulates its “do good” by offering products that donate to a cause of your choice and provide people the opportunity to know where their contribution is going locally.
Creating Olovee - Naming
Throughout the naming process, we explored a variety of names and concepts, which were narrowed down for legal vetting. Unique spelling and pre-fixes were considered to identify with short-hand naming for words like “unity” and “olive” to underscore the idea of peace and harmony.
Creating Olovee - Identity
The stacked Olovee logotype with the highlighted crossbar and stem elimination in the “E” conceptually conveys the client’s narrative of empathetic convergence and a bipartisan view to “meet in the middle”. The green color highlight is a subtle nod to growth and peaceful voices for change.
Facing a powerfully divisive time in today’s world, a community of teachers came to me with a noble request: to bring their philanthropic mission to life by creating a strong identity that would help foster unity and progression.
